The car-hopper is designed for bulk transportation of cement or other non-caking loose goods that need to be protected against an atmospheric precipitation in railway networks with track gauge of 1520 mm.
A smooth streamlined cylindrical body merges into inclined faces of the hopper, provides the required structural stiffness, allows the rainfall to run off and also enables a full unloading of goods. Three traditional unloading hatches ideally fit car loading at any cement plants. Fourunloadinghatchesaredesignedforcargravityunloading.
Advantages: increased capacity (min 65 m3) that enables to load cement of bulk density of 1.2 t/m3 up to dead weight without additional filling; gravity unloading capability in continuous flow until full off-loading as well as in portion size.
